This page features garments I hand-made, fashion sketches I drew, and materials such as presentations and process collages for the various festivals and competitions I participated in from my time in middle and high school, before entering college and beginning a formal fashion education.
Creation Gallery
This section is a gallery of my favorite garments I made in high school. The collection includes costumes from my theatre program, pieces I custom-made and sold, and clothes I made for myself, such as a lace denim jacket and my senior prom dress.
Competition Materials
This section contains my competition materials for the Texas Thespian Festival, International Thespian Festival, and the Schmidt & Jones Awards. The Thespian Festival Technical Events are scored out of 20 points by 3 judges for ratings of Fair, Good, Excellent, and Superior. At the state level, a Superior rating results in a qualification for internationals. I always competed in the Costume Construction category, which required hand-made costumes, a process photo collage, and a research presentation explaining creative choices.
